De-identify DICOM studies before they ever leave your facility

Anamika strips identifying data from imaging studies at the source. Install the desktop client to generate secure share links from your own workstation, or sign in to try the invite-only web anonymizer beta for a single study, up to a full 2 GB CT.

Two ways in

Same de-identification engine underneath. Choose the door that fits how you work.

Desktop client

AnamikaClient

For radiologists sharing studies routinely. Install once, point it at a watched folder, and it generates secure, expiring share links for your recipients — no PHI leaves your control until you choose to send it.

  • Install AnamikaClient on your workstation
  • Point it at a folder or your PACS export
  • Studies are de-identified locally and a share link is generated
  • Send the link — recipients view or download the de-identified study

Anonymize a study — beta

One ZIP in, anonymised ZIP out — up to 2 GB. Invite-only while in beta. Sign in with Google, upload a single study, and we email you when it is ready to review. You release it only when you're satisfied.

  • Sign in with Google (invite-only)
  • Accept the beta attestation
  • Upload one ZIP of a single study, up to 2 GB / 4,000 files
  • We email you when it is anonymised — no need to wait on the page
  • Review the header diff, contact sheet and drop report, then release

How it works

Same engine either way — the desktop client and the web beta differ in where the study starts and how you get it back.

Desktop client

  1. Install AnamikaClient and register it to your facility
  2. It watches a folder (or a PACS export) for new studies
  3. Each study is de-identified on your machine before anything is transmitted
  4. AnamikaClient issues a secure, expiring share link for recipients

Web anonymizer — beta

  1. Sign in with Google using an invited address
  2. Accept the current beta attestation
  3. Upload a single study as one ZIP — up to 2 GB and 4,000 files, three uploads a day
  4. It is queued and anonymised in the background: a large study takes minutes to about half an hour. You can close the tab — we email you when it is ready, and the job list is always there if the email goes astray
  5. Review the result yourself and release it — output is yours alone, downloadable as often as you need for three days, then permanently deleted

What the web beta does not do

Read this before you rely on it. These are stated limits of the beta, not edge cases — if any of them matter for your use, talk to us about the contracted De-Identification service instead.

  • No cross-batch pseudonym stability. Each study you upload gets a fresh, unlinked pseudonym — the same patient uploaded twice will not receive the same replacement identifiers across separate jobs.
  • No independent verification. The output is automated de-identification, reviewed and released by you, the uploader — nobody at Anamika inspects or verifies it before or after release.
  • One study at a time. The beta processes a single study per job — there is no batch or bulk upload path.
  • Output is not an Expert Determination. The result is not certified, not validated, and not suitable for public release or regulatory submission on its own.
